第二届衰弱症（中国）国际研讨会邀请函
世界卫生组织认为评价老年人健康的指标并非是有无疾病，而是指在老龄的状态下老年人仍然能够从事他们喜欢的工作。随着人口老龄化进程的加快和随之而来的慢病，针对于老年人的医疗保健系统必须做出相应的改变以保证老年人健康有尊严的生活。为促进老年衰弱症的临床诊治，世界卫生组织衰弱症临床研究及老年人培训合作中心，国家老年疾病临床医学研究中心（宣武医院）和中国老年学和老年医学学会脑疾病分会联合举办第二届衰弱症（中国）国际研讨会。
大会将邀请国内外老年医学的著名专家学者就“什么是脆弱，为什么防止虚弱是非常重要的事情”，“衰弱症的临床评估和治疗实践”，“糖尿病和衰弱症”，“血管病和衰弱症”等科学问题进行广泛深入研讨，推动相关成果的临床应用。
